It's so nice to be able to say we had a good day today!!! We went to the Vet, she took Riley's stitches out and checked his leg. She agreed it was not getting any worse. She advised me to continue with all of the medications, do the heat/ice routine and restrict all activity. So that was all good to hear. Riley has had a few more bursts of energy yesterday and today. He has wanted to play with his toys a little and has been awake a little longer during the day. He appears to be pretty comfortable and not in any pain. So all is well.
I took these pictures of Riley right after I told him him that the yearly list of the 10 most popular dogs was published today and the Cavalier was not on it. He said that didn't matter because on Crescent Drive, The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was by far the most popular. We have 3 Cavaliers on our street alone, Reggie, Darby and Riley.
