This is a diary about my most loveable dog, Riley. He is a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Riley was diagnosed with bilateral luxating patella and severe hip dysplasia and will be undergoing surgery on Monday January 5, 2009. This will be the story of his surgery, healing and recovery.

This is Riley about 5:00pm today. He is not very happy which I don't blame him for. As you can see, he holds his leg out to the side now and is having alot of trouble getting up and laying down. Hopefully the antibiotic will start to work VERY soon.
